How the photos were made
The pieces are moulded by hand and each one differs slightly in shape and glaze. I used soft side lighting, which shows the texture of the clay without harsh reflections, and neutral backgrounds so nothing competes with the colours of the pieces.
An online shop needs two kinds of image: each piece on its own against a neutral background, and a few photos in context, on a table or a shelf, which show size and use.
